1 Million Women is a global movement of women and girls building a lifestyle revolution to fight the climate crisis. We give women the tools, education and inspiration to cut carbon pollution in their everyday lives focusing on the key areas of daily living. We inspire women to use their lifestyle actions to drive real change and empower them to use their voices and their votes to fight for climate justice. 

Climate change is here. Already, a climate related disaster is happening somewhere in the world every week, whether it's flooding, unprecedented heatwaves, out of control bushfires, or huge storms. Profound lifestyle change is crucial and we all need to act now - for the sake of our children, for those who did the least to cause climate change but will suffer the most, for future generations and for us all.

Our vision is a world where millions of women and girls live net zero carbon lives and influence those around them to do the same. But addressing how we live isn’t easy. It’s one of the most challenging areas in tackling climate change but it's also vital to it's solution. There is no other organisation in the world doing it like 1 Million Women is and we need to keep growing our movement, empowering more and more women and girls and building our research into making behaviour change stick.
